I am a boy mom three times over.
I have replaced many missing TV remotes and broken household items. I have wished for five minutes of quiet, and wished for a five minute phone call! My boys are all adults now; I have watched them move out and helped one move back in.
I am a girl mom just once.She’s the baby.
I have been late on occasion because she couldn’t find the matching shoes for her doll’s outfit. I have wished for her to become independent and wished for her to need me just a little more often! She will graduate from high school in June leaving my husband and I officially “not-so-empty nesters”.

Glenn and I have been married for almost 19 years and he is my real life Prince Charming. We’ve both been married before and came into our marriage knowing what we wanted and didn’t want. Learning how to be step-parents was not always easy, but now that our children have grown I think we did ok. Fingers crossed!
